Kansas Supreme Court

The Kansas Supreme Court has issued Administrative Order 2020-PR-016. This order deals with the COVID-19 emergency procedures all district courts are obligated to follow at this time.   The Administrative Order is closing all district courts to the public effective March 23, 2020 for a period of at least two weeks.  The City of Lyons Municipal Court will follow the procedures issued by this Kansas Supreme Court Order 2020-PR-016 and will suspend the March 26, 2020 6:00 p.m. Court Docket.  All defendants who are scheduled to appear March 26, 2020 will receive a rescheduling notice to appear.  In addition, a court representative will be present at the City of Lyons Municipal Court on March 26, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., in the event a defendant has not received notice of rescheduling.  Defendants can also call the City of Lyons Municipal Court Clerk at 620-257-2355 for reporting instructions.In the event future court dates are suspended, notification will be made with defendants and a future posting on the City of Lyons webpage will be provided.
