Workman
Park
Workman Park is full of
things to do. Located next to Park Elementary School, it's a great place for
the kids. Workman is equipped with 2 slides, a merry-go-round, a large
picnic shelter, swings, and many other new pieces of playground equipment.
Workman park is also home to the Skate Park located at the north west corner
of the park.

Tobias Park
Tobias Park is the larges park in Lyons,
Located right next to the public pool, Tobias Park is a 'cool' place to hang
out. With a large open field, Tobias Park is great for family picnics and
group activities such as football and frisbie. Tobias Park is also equipped
with a picnic shelter, jungle gym, merry-go-round, swing set, teeter totters
and a slipper slide. The land for the park was donated in 1946 by Mr. Ansel
Tobias, and thus appropriately named for the donor.

Augman Park
Augman Park is a quaint little park great
for spending the day outdoors.. Located on the north side of town, Augman
Park has an open field great for soccer, baseball, picnics, etc. The park is
also equipped with a picnic shelter, basketball courts, slide,
merry-go-round and tennis courts. |

Lyons Overnight Campground
The Lyons overnight campground is located
at 500 W. Taylor. The facilities include water and electric hook ups as well
as restrooms and a small playground. |

Lyons Municipal Swimming Pool
The Lyons Municipal Swimming Pool is
located just south of Tobias Park. The pool was constructed in 1949 and
first opened in August of 1950. The pool is equipped with 2 slides, 2 diving
boards, a baby pool, a concession stand and a responsible life guarding
team.
